Dezgo Image Generator Review: I Tested It Myself

Are you looking for an AI image generator to create amazing images for a project? 

Recently there have been a ton of AI image generators bursting onto the scene.

I tested Dezgo’s AI image generator and decided to share my experience with it.

In this article, I will be giving you an in-depth review of Dezgo and showing you what the results looked like for me!

What is Dezgo?

Dezgo is an image-generation tool powered by AI that can create amazing images and art.

It is an online application that you can easily access through your web browser.

You can provide Dezgo with a text prompt to create images and turn your imagination into art. 

Dezgo can create high-quality images for different purposes like marketing, social media posts, product images for your Amazon, Shopify, or Etsy store, branding, etc.

They also provide regular updates and add new features to the platform making it an even more attractive choice for users.

Dezgo Features 

Dezgo isn’t just an AI image generator. It also offers other tools that allow you to do much more with images and even video. 

In this section, I will give you an in-depth look at the features that Dezgo offers and talk about my experience testing them.

Here are the main features of Dezgo:

Power Mode

Dezgo offers a completely free version of the application that allows you to use almost all its features with some limitations.

The power mode is the paid version of Dezgo. 

However, the best part about this is that you pay for what you use instead of a monthly subscription. 

You can load money onto your account and you will be charged as you use Dezgo.

With power mode, you can create over 5000 images for $10.

I think pricing-wise, it blows its competition out of the water.

Text To Image

The text-to-image generator allows you to describe what you want your final image to look like.

You can also customize the final result further by choosing the following:

• AI Model: Dezgo offers many AI models that can produce different types of results.

• Count: The number of images you want to create. This feature is only available in power mode.

• Image Resolution: You can choose the resolution of your final image.

• Negative prompt: You can provide things that you don’t want in the generated image. 

• Guidance: You can also choose how much the AI tries to fit the prompt you provided. Dezgo suggests that the ideal is between 6 & 10.

• Steps: The amount of sampling steps you want. 

I used this tool to create a cyberpunk version of the Taj Mahal. I wanted it to look scary and dystopian.

This is what some of my results looked like:

Prompt 1:

“Generate a cyberpunk-inspired rendition of the Taj Mahal, infusing dark and eerie elements to create a haunting and intimidating atmosphere. Emphasize futuristic, dystopian features such as neon lights, decaying structures, and an overall unsettling ambiance while maintaining the iconic silhouette of the Taj Mahal.”

Final Image:

Prompt 2: 

“Generate a cyberpunk version of the Taj Mahal with menacing and ominous elements, including eerie lighting, futuristic decay, and a foreboding atmosphere. Populate the surroundings with unsettling and cyberpunk-inspired creatures, such as biomechanical or mutated animals that evoke a sense of danger and unease, enhancing the overall sinister aesthetic of the scene.”

Final Image:

I quite liked how both of these images turned out. It did a good job of creating the atmosphere I had in my mind and what I was trying to capture in the prompts.

However you can probably see that some elements I asked for are missing in the image. But this is because I set the guidance to 7.

When I increase the guidance, you do an entity in the image but I feel like the overall quality of the image suffers.

Image To Image

The image-to-image tool by Dezgo allows you to generate high-quality images from an initial image and a prompt describing the changes you want.

Like the text-to-image tool, this also allows you to set a few more properties:

• Strength: This is a measure of how strongly you want your image to be altered. 

• Count

• Negative prompt

• Guidance

I uploaded the above image with the following prompt:

“Change the image’s atmosphere to be more pleasant with a sunny backdrop but keep the main building and structure”

This is what the result looked like:

I like how the final image turned out but as you can notice it’s very different from the original image.  

In the prompt, I asked to keep the original structure but it doesn’t seem to do that. However, the building in the new image does look similar. 

Overall, I am impressed with the generated images. 

Inpainting From Text

The inpainting from text tool allows you to change specific parts of an image. 

This can be especially useful for image editing. 

It can generate images based on an initial image and prompts describing the object you want to change and what you want to change it to.

I used an image of the Taj Mahal and tried to replace the Taj Mahal with the Colosseum.

The results weren’t great as it didn’t replace the Taj Mahal at all and only changed small details. 

I am not entirely sure if I am not using this feature the right way but I did not find any documentation explaining how to use it either.

Edit Image From Text

This feature allows you to edit an existing image. 

Again, I used an image of the Taj Mahal and asked it to add snow and gasses in the air.

I was impressed by how the final image turned out.

Text To Video

You can also use Dezgo to create videos from text prompts. 

Remember, that this feature is still in beta. 

To use the Text-to-video feature you need to join Dezgo’s Discord server.

If you want to use this feature, you can put your prompt in the #submissions channel on Discord and every 5 minutes they pick a prompt to create a video. 

Pricing

Dezgo offers a free tier that doesn’t require you to log in.

You can generate images and use all the features Dezgo offers with a few limitations and a bit of a slower speed.

You can also pay as you go to use the Power Mode.

This gives you access to all of Dezgo’s features and is much faster. You can load your account with as little as $10.

$10 allows you to generate 5263 images. This makes your cost per image $0.0019, which in my opinion is a pretty good deal!

Dezgo Pros & Cons

Dezgo Pros

• User Friendly UI: Dezgo’s UI is extremely easy to use and the learning curve is pretty small.

• Large suite of features: It offers many ways for digital art creation like image-to-image generation, editing images with text prompts, text-to-image, etc.

• Multiple AI models: You can choose from a long list of AI models that are trained to do different things and generate different types of images. 

• Image generation: Overall, the images you can create with Dezgo are very impressive and it easily holds its own against tools like Dall-E, Writesonic’s Photosonic image generator, Midjoureny, etc.

• Constant updates: Within the few days I have used Dezgo, I have seen them announce multiple new features. This means that the tool is constantly being updated and getting better.

• Amazing Free Tier: The free version of the tools allows you to access most features.

Dezgo Cons

• Inaccurate images: In my experience, Dezgo tends to add some inaccurate elements to AI-generated images. But I think this could be avoided using negative prompts. 

• Lack of documentation: I tried to find some documentation on how to get the most out of the tools but did not find anything explaining specific features and how to use them. 

How Does Dezgo Work?

Dezgo’s image creation uses Stable diffusion AI. 

Stable diffusion is an open-source deep learning model that anyone can use to build their own AI tools. 

Dezgo uses Stable diffusion AI technology to create image outputs from text prompts.
